Where he was surrounded around Basketball past greats like Isiah Thomas, Glen "Doc" Rivers, Michael Finley and many more. So growing up it was challenging from day one having start playing at the age go 10 years young. Lowery had basketball icons and greats from day one.. but believe it or not Lowery's first love was "Football". Having really no-one really to teach him about baseball. Which later pushed Lowery to do the "IMPOSSIBLE" Lowery played his first and last football with a game winning touchdown, that ended with a knee injury. (@Proviso West HS) Now lead Lowery to pursue baseball with little to no-experience. Just learning on the fly! And I must say he is Left-handed. Lowery had a dream to play at the highest level. (Goin'Pro). Lowery was a Walk-On at Coffeyville CC than later received a full scholarship at Hiwassee JC. Lowery received his A.A. degree in Business Management. Lowery felt he was on his way to Goin'Pro.. Lowery's (Juco) Coach was a Detroit Tiger Scout..That help him pave the way, to a few scouts with his Blazing Speed. (6.49 in 60 yrs dash). Being Voted as Most Improved Player with only 2 years of College Experience. Lowery had a scholarship offer at two schools ..Anderson University (in South Carolina) & Campbellsville University. Lowery attended Campbellsville University with the the opportunity to create a buzz for the MLB scouts. Lowery was voted back as Most Improved Player again and hit over .300 batting avg. Lowery's talents was speed, left handed that had potential to hit for power and can make pitchers never on the base pads. Shortly after the Junior year at Campbellsville. Everything was looking very good for next season, then the unthinkable happen. One and a half month before his Senior year started ....Lowery had a Career ending car-accident that change His life forever. No more baseball, MLB dreams was shattered.
